From Anime Fan to Content Creator: My Journey and 2025 Plans

YO!
Since December 19, 2024, I’ve been creating content about something I’m truly passionate about: Anime and Japan. I don’t know if this journey will work out for me, but I want to give it my all without second-guessing myself.

You see, content creation is about so much more than just hitting upload. It can help you upskill in so many areas—video editing, scriptwriting, psychology, digital marketing, and more. Even if you don’t achieve your social media goals, you walk away with valuable skills that can benefit you in so many ways.

ANYWAYS! 😺
Let’s talk about anime. Apart from the typical isekai shows (though some are exceptions), I love watching all kinds of anime—yeah, ALL kinds. 😏 But making content about anime? That’s a whole different challenge, especially when you’re trying to stand out in such a crowded space.

YouTube is packed with so much content that it can feel overwhelming at times. Whenever I come up with an idea, my low self-esteem kicks in and whispers: “It’s too generic. People will laugh at you. It won’t get any reach.” But you know what? After creating 12-13 videos so far, I’ve realized something: I don’t care. I’ll keep making videos, trying new things, and learning as I go.

In moments like these, I remember a famous quote from Studio Ghibli’s co-founder Hayao Miyazaki:
“I’d rather try something and fail than regret not trying at all.”

So, my goal for 2025 is to post at least 8-10 videos every month and push myself to see what I’m capable of.

Thank you for sticking with me and reading my first blog post. I know I’m not a professional writer, and my English isn’t perfect, but I appreciate you bearing with me. Let’s meet again in my next post!
